Sanford Biggers: Back to the Stars / Luke Agada: Arms, Feet and Fitful Dreams (viewing room)

Sanford Biggers: Back to the Stars, is the artist's fourth solo show at moniquemeloche comprising new compositions with familiar concepts. A spatial exercise, the presentation juxtaposes two previous series—works in quilt and marble—respecting each piece for its individual tone instead of forcing an encapsulating theme. By revisiting materials charged with references to his own career and art history, Biggers encourages his medium to take center stage, considering how technical berth can bring about conceptual depth and inspire new dialogues about, and between, all works on display.

The gallery will also introduce Luke Agada in the viewing room.
